The Permalock Denture requires that you have implants placed, so that we can make an appliance that will attach securely to the implants. The number of implants that need to be placed depends on the type of denture we make for you. There are 2 basic options. The first is a denture that will be secured by 2-4 implants. This option will allow for the denture to "snap on" to the implants, but will still be considered a removable denture, although it will be very stable and much more secure than a denture without implants. The second option is to have 4-6 implants placed and have a denture that will get permanently cemented or screwed to the implants. This is our Permalock Denture.
